Tilbury Freeport

Unique to us is the only drinks tax warehouse within Tilbury Freeport. Our Portcentric facility is only minutes from their ever expanding London Container Terminal, which handles 500,000 containers a year. This allows rapid quay to warehouse container movements, with associated environmental benefits and reduced haulage costs. We operate our own port tractors, which enjoy priority access for our customers’ containers. 490,000 ft2 of ambient and temperature controlled storage.

London Gateway

With the announcement by DP World that they propose to open a Fourth Berth at London Gateway, we are delighted to participate in what is the largest regeneration project in Europe. We have further amassed our estate by 146,000 ft2 in the Logistics Park, this being our second Port-centric facility after the success of Tilbury. London Gateway offers the same rapid ship to warehouse, with the attendant saving in time and costs. As a picture is worth a thousand words, visit dpworld.com for more information.

West Thurrock

A recent addition to our portfolio of warehouses. A brand new, 162,000 ft2 facility, racked out to supply 20,800 pallet locations for fast moving customer stocks. This site will be our first to fully operate using the very latest handheld terminal technology.

It is ideally located to the motorway network to provide easy access for incoming goods and outgoing deliveries especially for the Ports of Tilbury and London Gateway.

Leeds

A modern, well insulated warehouse. With 54,000 ft2 of space available, it is ideally located to service Yorkshire and the North of England. Wire guided trucks are in use to provide a fast and efficient picking service for a growing number of trade customers.

This site also operates as our Northern distribution hub covering Manchester, along with both the North West and North East areas of England.

Burton upon Trent

We have four sites – all in close proximity to each other – but all very different!

Eton Park

The finest facility and perfect environment, free from vibration, UV and daylight with bespoke temperature and humidity controls ideal for fine wine storage and maturation. With the ultimate in security protection measures, we are entrusted by 6,500 discerning investors from 70 countries to store over 500,000 cases on their behalf.

Global

A warehouse consisting of five separate areas, totalling over 100,000 ft2 of storage capacity, each ideally suited to a particular range of trade customers. We handle some of our large spirit customers at this site who can easily take advantage of delivery rates into the RDC’s operated by a number of the large supermarkets in the surrounding area.

A team is always on hand to carry out any rework requests – from duty stamps, presentation packs, front of store display units, neck tags etc

Gateway

Another of our modern facilities opened in 2019, located just a couple of miles from our Global warehouse with easy access to the main A38 and motorway network. Once again, the latest wire guided trucks are in use to speedily pick customers’ orders which can then be loaded via a number of dock levellers. Full temperature and humidity control systems are now in place to provide ideal conditions for fine wines storage.

Fradley Park

The latest addition to our warehouses in the Burton area, this modern facility is ideally situated at Fradley Park, Lichfield and operates as our transport hub for the Midlands along with handling our national trunk movements.

Additional storage is available to satisfy the fluctuating needs of certain major customers.

Wiltshire – Dinton

In the heart of the English countryside, protected within 100 acres of secluded woodland are our 15 reinforced concrete vaults. Excavated from the hillside, the underground chambers vary in size from 3,000 ft2 to 6,000 ft2. Recently, refurbished to the highest standards, but having stood the test of time for 70 years, they offer the optimum conditions for the maturation of fine investment wine. Individual units could be allocated and designed for the larger investor.

Drakelow Tunnels – Kidderminster

From Dragon’s Mound to the Ancients, blasted out of solid rock were created three and a half miles of tunnels for the Rover Car Shadow Factory in WWII, Top Secret nuclear bomb shelter during the Cold War that followed – quite some History!

Until now.

Its providential, lavish refurbishment as our fourth fine wine storage facility. With a capacity of 800,000 cases, with entirely natural permanent temperature control supported by the latest dehumidification equipment, a natural choice for maturing reserves.

Wiltshire – Melksham

A former Ministry of Defence site in Wiltshire.

Four former aircraft hangars, each measuring 24,000 ft2 have each been meticulously renovated and heavily insulated, to provide temperature controlled storage for a few selected fine wine customers.

A fifth hangar has also been refurbished to accommodate our West Country transport operation and delivery fleet.

Cambridge – Linton

One of two ambient warehouses in the Cambridge area. A growing number of small to medium trade customers take advantage of the operational pace and personal service offered from this location. Again, with easy access to the motorway network it provides a good, and financially beneficial, alternative to our London sites.

Cambridge – Sawston

The larger of our two Cambridge sites at approximately 54,000 ft2 and located just a few miles from our Linton site. This site now operates as our dedicated fulfilment centre to meet the growing demands of our customers who trade online with their end customers. Under the guidance of an experienced B2C Manager, it offers a wide range of pick & pack services, bespoke reworks and the option to link into our dedicated parcel carrier network.

A full national delivery service is provided from both of our Cambridge sites, including a next day service into London, the Home Counties and many other postcode areas.

Hillington (Glasgow)

Situated just a mile off the main M8 motorway, this warehouse is ideally situated to service the entire central belt of Scotland and, through our distribution partner, throughout the whole of Scotland. Deliveries to England & Wales are routed via our internal trunk network to ensure a national coverage for our Scottish based customers.

Many whisky (and other spirits) customers have chosen to store with us at Hillington where we can provide a range of add on services including both the application and removal of duty stamps, bespoke labelling, case re-configuration, Point of Sale materials, Certificate of Age etc

A special area has been set up to house the growing interest in fine and rare bottles of whisky. Under its own security and CCTV systems within the main warehouse, it is the ideal place to store valuable bottles in a clean and safe environment. Photography services are also available within the unit.
